Junior Achievement of New Jersey

Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ) is part of a nearly century old global non-profit that inspires and prepares young people in grades K-12 for success and is the proprietor and beneficiary of the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame™. The JA Education Center located in Edison houses JA’s state headquarters and Capstone programs (micro-economies), JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, and is a venue for other JA events and programs such as Women’s Future Leadership Forums, JA Career Success Workshops, JA Titan Challenge and more.

The volunteer role is critical to the success of JA’s career-readiness, money management, and entrepreneurship programs. Partnering educators and school administrations play integral roles in ensuring their students’ success in JA programs. Through the generosity of corporations, foundations and personal gifts, JA in New Jersey remains a free educational resource to schools, students and their families.

Companies of various sizes and industries, such as those on the JANJ Boards, look to JA as way to volunteer with promising young people and team-build while creating stronger leaders and a better workforce in NJ for today and tomorrow.

Being a volunteer for JA is memorable and turnkey and can be life-changing for the young people you spend time with mentoring for just a short day out of the office. As a volunteer you have the opportunity to share your world of work with youth who may not have role models in their lives.
